Wave inspiration

The movement and patterns the waves make on the ocean floor and in the sand were the inspiration for these sketchbook pages. I have used poly filler to try and recreate these patterns that I then translated to a knit and crochet sample. I experimented with trying to recreate the pattern using fabric manipulation but unfortunately, this sample was not a success but I was happy with how my knit samples and crochet sample worked out.
