coral crochet

These coral drawings inspired me to experiment with free form crochet, I like how with this technique I could create very subtle ruffles like those on the cabbage coral or more extreme ruffles like my hyperbolic sample. I made using a fabulous silk yarn, this is one of my favorite samples.
